We were in for more than we bargained for the night we attended Phish at the Bill Graham Auditorium in San Francisco. The date was Tuesday, October 28 and the SF Giants were mid battle with the Kansas City Royals, in game 6 of the World Series. Meanwhile, in front of the Bill Graham, on the courthouse lawn, a big screen premiered the game. Thousands of excited Giants and Phish fans ran around, mingling with one another. It was quite the sight to see! The venue was amazing, probably one of the oldest and most unique I’ve been into. And the show definitely on those rare qualities; half of the show’s songs debuted between the late 80s and mid 90’s. Just when you think you know a band and realize halfway through the show, you’ve never heard several of the songs. Nothing like a proper history lesson!
